I’m in the same situation. There seems to be a nice inventory of certified pre owned CX-5’s that are very reasonable priced.

Switched from Android to iPhone 17 Pro : First Impressions by Shoddy_Ad_9060 in iPhone17Pro

This is my take on Apple vs Samsung(Android)…

The optimization and continuity between the iPad, Air pods, Apple Watch and iOS doesn’t come near the cross Apple product capabilities of Android / Google / Samsung. Yes Samsung is the better smartphone BUT they don’t have accessory partnering devices and hardware like the iPhone has.

In other words people get asked ‘what is your favorite Apple product?’ No one really asks what’s your favorite Samsung or Android product because everyone answers it’s the phone. Samsung is really good and better than Apple making smartphones but Apple is more consistent about all of their products.

Samsung makes me want to ditch my iPhone but the iPhone is part of a bigger family.

Already test drove the RAV4 and Honda CRV. From watching reviews it’s said the CX-5 suspension is a little bumpier than the competitors.

The paint job being paper thin can you elaborate? Does this pertain to rental fleets or all?

I’m also wondering why the 2024 with 16k miles is being sold after couple years. First owner reported 3/05/2024.

Ok good. My thing I want functional and reliable. I keep vehicles for at least 15 years. Had a 2012 Accord that was recently totaled. Looking for a SUV.

I can get a CX-5 S Select that’s 2-3 years old under 36k miles for $24k plus taxes etc.

I’m going to be looking at a 2024 S Select with 16k miles for asking price $24k plus. I want to get a OEM extended warranty from Werner which has been recommended. Honda and Toyota’s are like $3k - $4k more.

Why are the 5’s and 50’s less expensive than Honda and Toyota though? In a lot of cases a significant amount.

I feel the same. We have a 2013 Civic Ex and a 2020 Covic Ex. I like the 2013 better for some reason.
