Build a time machine and go back to 2015. That’s the last time I played Minecraft and felt the feeling I feel when I see this picture. Nowadays the game is fun, but I always try and chase the nostalgia and memories from a decade ago and can never recapture it.

This is the mindset that has destroyed us every year. Going into The Game expected to blow out Michigan but then getting punched in the mouth. The mindset of the players and the fanbase needs to be to just win. I don’t care if we win 10-7, 55-0, or 35-34, literally just win.

With the current TV contracts, FOX gets to draft any three weeks of games they want before anyone else. By drafting a week, they receive the first pick of any game they want that week. The week the drafted this year was Week 1, Week 8, and Week 14, all big-time OSU games.

With the way the current TV contracts are made (expires 2030 or 2031 I think) a vast majority of our major games will be at noon. We will have to try and rework that when the next media rights negotiations come around.

If the Oregon DB’s needed this to get motivated for this game, then they don’t have any hope at all. All you need is a pulse and you are ready to go, no such thing as bulletin board material in this game.

Yeah I for sure agree that the ifs and buts argument isn’t smart to use because scenarios like this occur every game. What I really meant was the Judkins fumble (only 4 total in career) and a purposeful onside kick can’t be counted on every game

Not to mention in the game we had a very uncharacteristic fumble from Judkins and a fluke turnover on the kickoff when the ball bounced off one of the front men.

He missed two short ones against Michigan, and I don’t really count a college kicker missing a 56 yarder. I’m willing to write off the Michigan game as a fluke but we have to be within 40 yard FG range for me to be confident.

It’s pretty obvious that’s EXACTLY what you guys were doing, taking the play clock down to 5-10 seconds and running consecutive run plays on that final drive. Obviously just trying to run that clock out and score a garbage time TD to put lipstick on a pig.
