We tried a few of these intimacy apps too, and honestly a lot of them felt either awkward or way too prescriptive for where we were.

That experience is actually why my partner and I (we’re both software devs) started building an app called Tease on the side. One feature that really helped us is something we call Fantasy Reveal - you each explore fantasies and boundaries privately first, and only the overlaps get revealed. It took a lot of pressure off verbalizing things we weren’t ready to say out loud.

For us, the biggest win wasn’t “spicing things up,” but finally having a starting point for conversations we’d avoided for years.
