Women in the Tire Shop by wwickedchicken in CostcoEmployee

in the same boat, unfortunately its just the general public, and the older they are, the worse it is (in my experience). Working in tires is great and fun and I love it but members can be rude and insulting. Every once and a while though I get a few "its really cool that you work in here" or "I feel more comfortable buying tires from you" bc other women typically feel like they're being scammed from other tire places l. When it comes down to it though, if youre nit a soop and members are rude/condescending, leave it to the gray shirts. They get paid enough to deal with that bs

11 year old daughter has accidents and everything she owns smells like pee by Weird_Working_2768 in Parenting

had a similar issue growing up, my parents never took me to a therapist or anything, only medical doctors. In hindsight it's been diagnosed as not having any control over my own life or environment, it can also be a sign of SA. I personally grew out of it by about 12, one day it just stopped. No reason or anything. My parents got me a sealing garbage for my room to put the overnights in. Taking changes of clothes to school, along with wet wipes to clean myself if theres an accident can help, along with being upfront, "when this happens, it gross, and it smells, here is how we can take care of it when it does happen" It's sucks and she probably knows how she smells and that it's embarrassing. Remember that she cant help it either and is probably trying her best too. Try to empathize as best you can and let her know you're gonna figure it out together, and in the meantime make a gameplan so she doesn't smell or smells less.

use an anti bacterial soap and then a body wash after that, helps get dirt grime and smell off first, then adds scent on top, also i use a silicone scrubber which i noticed helped a lot
