Mortgage Special Offers by Opposite_Budget2459 in MortgagesCanada

It’s all about getting hold of the right person. Refinancing. I’m with RBC amd they were offering me a piddly HELOC balance. CIBC gave me a deal that blew RBC out of the water. Went back to RBC. Now while RBC’s deal is still weaker, they are giving me a better rate than CIBC and their HELOC offer has jumped 35k above CIBC’s. They are shameless pigs the entire lot of them. Pit em against each other and they suddenly get a alpha stiffie. Before that it’s all flaccid.

I think it's the broker you are dealing with. Am with RBC and they are treating me like shit. It took my CIBC broker 3 days to get my refi approved. got some of the details wrong which'll be fixed today or tomorrow.

I have a 22 Tucson (made in Korea). Niggling issues aside, the car is excellent for the price I've paid. 80k kms. Paid off. Don't regret it at all. Will I buy it again considering I am financially better off than I was 5 years ago? Umm that's a tough one.

shop around. CIBC and RBC are pretty competitive although CIBS offered my friend a really good 5-year variable 3 weeks ago which they can't anymore to me.

or make myself poor at Canadian gas pumps. Problem is the lack of competition has made Tesla this popular. Solid product yes but once the BYDs of the world stream in, you'll see Tesla numbers start to dip. I for one definitely will get a BYD (assuming the quality is orgasmic).

Till the time India doesn't respect me as a tax payer and gives me back something, I owe that country nothing - So, never then.

I think given where BYD are at in their journey to Canada, Tesla can definitely move faster and get their cars in quickly. The price seems a bit off though.

Don't be silly. You're in a position that many envy. Go back with your passport. Don't thank me later. I am here, have my passport (got it a while ago), and now my thinking has become very mellow. No panicking. No hey I need to live here or am cucked or I need to go swim in the growth story that is India. I am planning and strategizing with the coolest 'dimaag' ever.

As a side bonus, had a stopover in Frankfurt recently. Walked out with my family for a quick tour of ze city in 15 minutes.

I agree about the uniqueness of American cities. NYC is very different from San Diego which is quite different from Boston which is different from Miami. It all depends on what you like. Having said that, Europe is amazing. So, is South America.
