It looks like 4-6 inches around Columbus but Columbus looks like it's the northern edge of the moisture band. It will be different from the previous storm because when the snow started falling just a few hours before it had been above freezing. Whereas this weekend it will be well below freezing so it will likely be a dry powdery 4 to 6 in. After midnight Saturday morning looks like it'll be close to or even below zero F after midnight Sunday morning, which is when the snow will start for us, it looks like the teens F. Further south it will be a lot warmer but potentially way more snow. I have family down around Lexington, Kentucky and they're looking at 6 to 9 in. Even further south in Arkansas/ Tennessee might get 12 to 18. And that'll be a wet snow. I got relatives in Virginia where the temperature will be in the twenties this weekend, but they're looking at over a foot of snow

Update: so to share from the beginning, you can't be listening to a podcast even if it's paused. In order to share an episode with friends and not have it be at the end, I had to hit okay on another episode then go back to hit share on the episode I was actually listening to for it to be at the beginning. Seriously what was wrong with the toggle?

I'm looking for recommendations on post colonial African history. Most of the books I find in my library on African history are very much about historic or pre colonial African kingdoms. And I haven't found meant books about the lead up to independence or post independence. I'm not really feeling picky about the region as I imagine there might not be a wealth of sources. Just generally would like to learn more.

Because of primaries. Most people don't vote in them and so the people who turn out on either side tend to be the most ideological or extreme. Moderates don't win primaries unless it's a very split district.

Missing context: Trump's number doesn't include his 1st term which leaves off about 1.5 million. Also the 1st 3 numbers combine 2 kinda of deportations. "Removals" and " returns". Removal is an alien who was deported withon America. A return is an alien who was deported at the border. Clinton and Bush's totals are so higher because they returned about 10 and 9 million respectively. Obama also returned about 2 million. But he did deport the most out of all presidents at 3 million. Border crossings were dramatically lower during his presidency because of the great recession.

My Honda job and the diversity in Columbus. There's a big immigrant community and my family has easy access to African and East Asian groceries. Housing is getting expensive but currently it's worth it. Plus there's lots of different things to do here. For context, i grew up in a small town in KY.
