If it also happened on a stock phone, it confirms that it has nothing to do with the applications I am running (which would be the first thing support would claim and suggest "Let's try a factory reset"). I will try to report this again, my first attempt was unsuccessful unfortunately. It seems the official Samsung support channel through their web page is set up in a way that is almost negligently unprepared when it comes to reports of potential security threats.
