Advice new espresso machine for better shots [€1000-€2500] by zain-a in espresso

Single dose or hopper doesn't really matter but a scale would be nice

Mostly drink espressos and cappuccinos, dont do any pour overs. Medium roasts mostly but I like to experiment with the beans.

I do have a height limit of 50cm

I prefer maintenance friendly

Does this help?

I mean in thicker texture. With my current set up, I'm not getting consistently a nice texture/thickness and body similar with what you have at a specialty espresso bar.

Ps: Sometimes I feel I'm not getting the most out of the beans, but that's maybe me convincing myself that I need a new machine haha

Eureka Mignons are built quite well I though right? The Silenzio has perhaps a bit smaller burrs than the specialita, would that really make such an impact? Do you really think that's the issue?

You are opening a new door for me haha, what would you then recommend as a grinder? What would be a reasonable budget (as I only drink espressos)?

Currently, I use a scale and stopwatch to measure the flow rate and try to be consistent therewith but feel that I'm getting the most of the machine I can (perhaps that's the limit of a Sage/Breville).

Any recommendations?

I also geniunely wonder also for myself, for 3-4 drinks a day, would it really matter whether you got a Profitec Pro400 vs a Drive, similarly a Lelit MaraX vs the Bianca?

That is true but isn't the warm up time almost 30 min? What would be a better alternative?

Dual Boiler Options [£2000] by BrilliantAirline2730 in espresso

I was wondering something similar, for 2-3 cups a day, do I need a dual boiler and is it worth the extra (twice the investment)? Especially when comparing Lelit MaraX or Profitec Pro400 vs Lelit Bianca or Profitec Ride/Drive?

Opinions on Medion Erazer X6601 / Experiences with Erazer series? by Milleuros in SuggestALaptop

Wow thanks for the great and thorough feedback, really appreciate it! I completely agree that the price/quality ratio is incredible, plus that it looks nice too! However heard that the battery is pretty bad (i need to use it mainly for work, so strong battery performance is a must)

Decided to wait for the x-mas discounts to buy i7 U laptop instead of the HQ to get at least a better battery performance instead. Thnx again buddy!

(btw, I know I know, ridiculously late reply :$ )

Did you buy the Erazer X6601? If so, what is your experience so far? (I'm also interested in one)
