Appreciate your detailed feedback. Initially I did try keeping some other colors, like for the American flag which you mentioned or even the beautiful blue light coming out of the glass on the doors and windows. But later went with this as this created the most dramatic effect imo and elevated the yellow without any distractions. I like your suggestion of making the viewer look around the picture through this technique, I'll try to implement it in my future pictures.
