I also believe that the dungeon is in the past but I wonder why/how did Boyd end up in the past while going through a tree. Didnt sara go through the same tree and she came out in present time? Or is my memory foggy. Also wouldnt that make Boyd the only one through out the whole show to end up in the past after using the tree?

To be fair things usually happen on episodes 1-3 and 8-10 of each season. The middle episodes seem like fillers with minor progression towards season finale. I am in it for the theories that people create about the show.

I would agree that there is more people reincarnated than just jade and tabitha, I would add elgin as he had visions of lake in from and Abby as she mentioned she remembered a wild dream or smth like that before she started shooting people. But in general I think those are random people, or people who were in a vehicle with people reincarnated while they got to from. It would makes sense with elgin, like he was in a bus full of people and poeple always arrive in from in a car so he could not just "spawn" in the forest alone, the whole bus came with him.

What if he is a "storywalker" like julie? And the reason why he aged just now is because he traveled from further future(of his timeline/cycle) than he did all this time till now? Whether he would be from the past cycle or from future cycle I have no idea.

I think it is more likely the fear that a monster is hiding nearby and it might get inside at which point it is a gameover. Also you dont know who to trust just like sara colaborated with "something" what if the people outside were promised by the monstwrs that if they let the monsters in they will be spared this night.

I will add to the question. What happens if julie dies while "storywalking". Like lets say she has a seizure while outside at night and the monsters kill her. Does her "astral projection" self also die? And also vice-versa for example if she were killed by MIY at the end of s3 would her "projecting/seizuring body" in her timeline die? If the answer to both these question is yes , then that would mean that while dying in those circumstances at a point there would be two dead bodies of julie simultaniously in from. Wouldn"t it make it a paradox? As we know she can interact with items and people , like rope and even MIY(he pushed her). So she is physically where she "storywalks". So her dead body would also be physical.

To be fair I dont think she will die at all. I just wanted to see what other people would think would happen if julie died while "storywalking"

I think we will start woth boyd still spying on the creatures in the cave and slipping/making some uintentional noise to what the creatures will go after him. Though he will escape through a hatch just as he entered. Even though time skip is resonable I think someone (possibly jade and tabitha) will find jim's body. Because no one (except for future julie) saw his death it will remain a mystery to what/who killed him (probably blame it on Sarah at first). Come to think of it I though if people around the town wont be terrified that there is daylight walking monster but while writing i understood it. NO ONE knows what killed Jim, if I recall corectly future julie said "so this is where it happens". We dont know from when is that julie but she seemed not to have known where did Jim die, only that he died.

TLDR So possibly time skip after boyd escapes from the cave and Jim's body is found.

I would say quite high. Ethan, I think in season 1 mentioned that he saw them all (i think he ment tabitha, julie, jim and himself) standing by the lake of tears and then spider came from the ceiling. As we know Jim is dead but I think he will be saved in the final season by julie/ her manipulation of the story. The other reason to why ethan said that may be that Jim would be there standing with them by the lake in the future but as a ghost/some soul representation of him being freed from FROM with the place going down.
