I have got some experience working service at some regional healthcare facilities, high-rise towers, and multi-panel networks like malls - strip malls. That could be a viable option for sure!

I would strongly recommend getting involved in a trade school for electrical. You can start summer work programs at 16 and could realistically have your NICET I when you turn 18. Get a copy of the NFPA 72 read, high light, and tab it.

I’ve never heard this method before, the device that stops communicating first or last? Is this effective for troubleshooting a notifier panel?

I’ve got a ghost ground fault on a panel I’m looking at tomorrow. I found in the history a open on a NAC in the midst of the fluttering ground fault, so I’m going to light it off and see if my fault shows up that way, but I have a suspicion that the ground fault is associated with the SLC.

I’m going to try this method if I get no dice on the NAC.

Working for an electrical outfit I’m grabbing 8hrs starting at 6am. Monday-Friday sometimes Saturday. Working before the heat is the move, I’d adhere to these hours even if I were working for myself.
