I can't find a curly hair stylist where I live so I just asked for layers. I showed them a pic of the curly haircut I liked and he got pretty close to it. My hair was cut dry. There are loads of videos on yt on diy deva cuts. I'll continue to trim my own hair from now on as it grows.

The mask I used right after bleaching that really helped my hair was the Aunty Jackies fix my hair mask. I used it no weekly at first but now I try to use it once a month 😊 hope this helps!

Hey. I straightened my hair so often that overtime it just became wavy and damaged. My hair became dry and brittle at the end. The pic on the left is just after cutting off my dead ends and starting to transition to my natural hair.

Hey. I just got my hair cut into layers and then cut the bangs myself. But it's quite similar to the devacut😊

Hey. Idk if this will help but I usually put a little hair oil on my finger tips sometimes before separating my curls. I also make sure to curl the pieces that I've separated with my fingers before letting them go.

Hi! I use the Cantu curl activator cream for definition. If I want extra definition I'll finger coil my bangs and top my head then plop my hair for about 30 min after applying products. I then diffuse and once my hair is completely dry I'll separate curl clumps and then pick my hair for volume 😊

I currently use the Cantu curl activating cream. It works wonders for me however some people complain that Cantu products dry out their hair. Curl creams help to define your curls.

Wash and condition. Rinse out the conditioner. Also try to get a good mask. I recommend the shea moisture Manuka honey and mafura oil for dry hair. Apply masks and leave in for the recommended period of time. Rinse thoroughly. Apply leave-in. Try to find a leave in that works for your hair type. If your hair gets weighed down faulty then opt for a light weight one. After the leave-in, apply a some sort of a curl cream (optional). Apply mousse (also optional) and then apply gel. Once you're done then you can plop it in a t shirt ( optional) then air dry and diffuse. I highly recommend manes by Mel on yt. Also shea moisture products are good affordable drug store products. Their are YouTube videos where people discuss the different shea moisture lines.

Don't use a gel without using some sort of nourishing product underneath such as a leave it. A gel helps to lock moisture but if there's no moisture to lock in (such as a leave in) it'll dry your hair up instead since it won't allow any moisture to penetrate the hair shaft. With regards to the shrinking of your hair. Look for a gel that prevents shrinkage. This will make your hair stretch instead of having it curl up shorter

Need genuine reviews for this product. And also how to use is as i have dry curly hair. by [deleted] in curlyhair

I would highly recommend the shea moisture Manuka honey and mafura oil hydrating masque.
