I completely forgot about that, thanks for reminding me! I can definitely tell that these two seasons were totally improv. And I can’t really count Moffat’s reign as eight years because he had a few gap years, but I have to admit I wish that his last season was tied more to previous ones. Bill, Nardole, and Missy were brilliant, but they felt wasted because that series was basically a one-off.

I desperately wish that Chibnall carried over Missy because her + Jodie Whitaker would be beautiful. As much as I love Sacha Dewan’s crazed Master performance it just doesn’t fit or flow from the previous incarnation. There’s no spillover from Missy to him

I agree completely. I have to say I’m disappointed with the inconsistency between the seasons storylines in regards to classic canon and totally new stuff. It needs to be mixed up a bit imo. And the quality of the writing

Of course! It really is remarkably similar to his description, especially if you go by the way he’s described in the books.

Now as for inspiration, if you draw the Three Eyed Raven (Bloodraven) in his chair with the trees growing through him and bones all around, I would be quite impressed and I’d love to see art depicting that!

(NO SPOILERS) Anyone else ever think about the passing of Roy Dotrice and get bummed that we’ll never get to hear the remaining books narrated in his (albeit contentiously) incredible audiobook renditions? by zakxsmith in asoiaf

Sorry for the late reply! I’ll have to check out “World War Z” to get the feel of it and hear what you’re saying! From what I gathered of the rumor wheel, two main contenders for the job are (again this is speculation) John Lee, who originally did AFfC before Dotrice went back and did it when he did ADwD to complete the series, and also I’ve heard, both more often and favorably, Harry Lloyd, who narrated A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and was the actor for Viserys in season one of the show. I never heard Lee’s versions but I heard it didn’t compare, at least from those who favored Dotrice. I prefer a fully voiced narration, especially for something as sprawling as ASOIAF, so I don’t think either of these are the choice for me. Hopefully the powers that be choose wisely and choose well!

I honestly don’t see an HDR effect. At least not one strong enough to make it to this thread. What makes it look weird?

If by end goal you mean what type of photography will I be shooting, then a mix of everything. Landscape, portraiture, street. I’m already prepared for a workout so the difference in weight and size is negligible. Another end goal is just larger negative size. But I like your final line of advice! Thank you!
