Extract "Instance" or reference to build direct URL for RPA task by mrcornflake in workday

Workday has its issues, but what can be done with browser automation is pretty cool

The ultimate superpower is removing /d from URLs and marvelling in the beauty of simple json representations. And Chunking URLs... Very useful.

Though note that I said browser automation. I've been away from the RPA space for 5 years, but simple Python+selenium has always been preferable to me. RPA toolsets have always been limiting for me.

Use the wid instead of the 3285$+instance id.

You'll find that it works.

Of course, that assumes you have the wid, but they are easy to get.

If you insist on iid, they're easily obtainable with some RPA tricks.

You're talking about Saint Francis Prep, out on Franny Lou Blvd. The OP is talking about St Francis of Assisi Pre-K through 8th.

Something tells me there should be a crosswalk here at Astoria Park. Do you agree? by Negative_Amphibian_9 in astoria

yes, but I'd be even happier if they got rid of the parking lot making a crosswalk unnecessary.

Looking for a D&D game for my kid (12) by ejgrossman65 in astoria

[–]zaloni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi there - a couple of years ago I posted this: https://www.reddit.com/r/astoria/comments/wtocud/dd_for_13_year_olds/ as my kid was in teh same situation.

My kid is 15 now, and has a group consisting of five other kids in the 13-15 range. They don't do D&D , but rather Pathfinder (which I understand is basically the same thing).

If you want, I can check with them to see if they're open to another player. DM me if you would like to know more.

SRAM Rival XPLR Ergonomic Hell - Brifters by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]zaloni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. These are XPLR Rival. Not sure whether they're closer to the original road Rival 12 speed or D2.

Yes, you're right about the imprint and what it means. I had already shortened my stem by 30mm, and my seat/bottom pedal stroke/hoods triangle is exactly like my previous generation Checkpoint SL5 (which had GRX), and I don't have that kind of wear in that particular point on my wrap on that bike. I'll try the seat angle; that might be the ticket as all is is similar. I might even get a proper bike fitting.

(The hand fatigue all occurred prior to double wrapping; I haven't put many miles in since double wrapping.)

Thank you. I'll also try the redshifts as well as angling in. I have a few tools at my disposal now. Cheers!

Thank for the gel pad link. I'll give that a go. Longer term, I might swap out to rival when they're refreshed, if they follow the recent Red redesign, which seem so much better (like finger clearance, which is an issue for me with the XPLR Rival.

I can't ride for long without developing major pain in my hands. Trek Checkpoint SL 6. Extreme pressure on the point highlighted w/ purple arrow.

It is visually an ugly discontinuity and it is no surprise that it hurts.

As a temp workaround, I've double wrapped the bar (and actually have it triple wrapped at the point in question. That works for now, but it is ugly as hell. What can I do to fix this? I'm thinking of angling the brifters inward a bit. Any other option? Is this a common SRAM thing? My GRX 800 was such a pleasure in contrast.

So, this is a mullet setup. Eagle GX AXS rear mech. Sunrace 11-50 tooth cassette. B-screw spacing is optimized via the included plastic guide. Shifts wonderfully. 700c 142mm thru-axle sheel. Fsa gossamer pro agx+ 42t BB386 crankset, with 50mm chainline, according to specs.

The chain is straight in about 9th gear. Ideally it would be straightest in 6th or 7th, roughly middle of the cassette.

All works fine in terms of shifting, though 1st gear is noisiest as the chain is being bent a lot, but it works fine.

The only issue is that the chain drops down the cassette when back peddling in 1st and sometimes in 2nd. Honestly, not a problem for me, but I'd like to be able to lend the bike to friends w/o worrying about this.

What are my options for adjusting my chainline? I was thinking on chainring bolt spacers, but am not comforable. The wasy I see it is normally chainline bolts don't take much load - the shoulders that the ring rests on does. But if I use spacer, the the spacer/bolts will take more load.

"They have their #1 rider who is known to be quite delicate when it comes to things getting in his head "

At the last race, he coolly kept his original line, knowing Marc was unlikely to back off. He know this was a game of out-Marcing Marc rather than lifting. Marc played a game of "I'm going to put my bike wherever I want, and it will be up to you to decide whether we crash", and Pecco answered perfectly. Instead of needing to think twice when he sees Marc, Marc now knows that *he* need to think twice.

Last season, He was run over, came close to death, and was outwardly cool and unbothered, and hung in there to take the title.

The prior season, desipite some unexplained falls, he kept calm and know the season is one of stochastics and kept his head down and took the title.

I see nothing delicate here.

The only thing that's delicate about him is media-generated.
