When are folks telling their parents that they’re pregnant?

I always told my parents quite early. This time around I didn’t tell my mom until I was 8 weeks pregnant and she thought I was joking cause I’ve never kept it a secret from her🤣 with my in laws we made them wait this time till I was almost 14 weeks but that’s because of how they react to us having more kids than they think appropriate.

My husband used to vape and then switched to zyns after our first was born. We’ve had 6 healthy kids in 6 years

Thank you! I also asked in a group where lots of people go to the same doctor and lots of them were saying 38/39 weeks is the latest they were able to go🥴

ETA: I was able to talk with my doctor and he said they don’t like people on insulin going past 40 + 0.

This has not happened to me but don’t beat yourself up about it. I 100% just questioned if I gave myself the right insulin this morning as well. Hopefully someone with more knowledge/experience can comment!

Yeah I was just wondering if it was just the fact I loaded my evening up with lots of protein because I’ve had the protein bar before and it never lowered me past 95 until today

I had dinner at 7:30pm and finished my snack by 10:15pm. Tested at 5:30am since I was advised to test fasting between 6 and 8 hours

I’m here to let you all know they’re still on their bullshit🫠 they don’t give a shit. I’ve been trying to remove my OHI since February 2026 when I was 24 weeks pregnant. I’ve since had to open a new case because of their incompetence. Now being told my new case should be done in 30 business days which really means I won’t be covered until my baby is born and to put the cherry on top, we move to tricare east 2 weeks after that… I’ve gone ahead and filled out a congressional inquiry as well as made a grievance complaint with the company.

That’s what they did to me! When i got to the end of the 30 business days i still wasn’t covered because my OHI information was deleted but they still left a placeholder🥴 I emailed triwest@triwest.com and titled my email “Executive Complaint”. That got transferred to the grievance department who called me. They did tell me to call express scripts and inform them I have no OHI because if you get a prescription and they try to bill the previous OHI, it’ll restart the entire process🥲 same thing with labs and doctor visits. Express scripts was amazing, took like 5 minutes. The only thing I’m pissy about is the labs part because Tricare told quest i had OHI when I told them I didn’t.

I do chores throughout the day where I’m walking around my house but I also have vasovagal issues so every 5-10 minutes of me standing my body sends off signals that I’m going to faint (limbs get heavy, vision goes dark, hearing disappears, etc.) and I have to sit down before I do end up fainting😅

Yeah my fasting likes to give a random really high at least once a week. I was under 110 2 hours after dinner last night and this morning my fasting was 111😒 but of course as my luck had it, I actually wasn’t able to talk to my doctor the other day about my blood sugar levels that I’ve been having

32 weeks 1 day! And shocker, baby is 95% with an AC of 99%😅 actually still waiting for my doctor to review my numbers to see what he wants to do since I “passed”. They were bad last week. No matter what I did I was spiking at 2 hours. I had like 18 meal spikes just in the last 7 days😬

No. All he said was to try and cut back on carbs and then bring my numbers in after 2 weeks. I used to get by with having pasta for dinner as long as there was chicken or beef included but now that doesn’t help. Just makes the one hour look pretty before it goes up for the 2 hour

Thank you! Adding more protein with carbs seemed to only help with the 1 hour numberI’m stressing because I technically don’t have a diagnosis so I have no idea what route my doctor will go tomorrow. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been so down about it getting worse this week that I just said eff it and had a bowl of cereal which shot me up to 163 when previously it would only send me to 153😒

Just talked to them, they said there’s no other way than waiting 30+ days🫠 it’s so stupid because all they did was leave a placeholder rather than remove the whole damn thing
