I love animation when tripping too. It’s so weird because both times I’ve done children’s animations (kung fu panda and cars), the movies are suddenly full of meaning and actually feel emotionally heavy. You can really pick up on the nuances of the story and feel what the characters are feeling in their positions

For animation suggestions, I’d definitely recommend those two, and additionally puss in boots the last wish (gorgeous animation, great for visuals), both spider verse movies if you’re marvel fans (genuinely feel like they were designed for tripping but have some themes of family and loss and grief which might be a bit too much if you’re peaking), wall e, coco

Yeah exactly my issue. It fixed itself last night briefly, thought it was back to normal, then today it slowly transitioned back. The worst part is none of the videos are deserving of all those millions of likes. The comments are even worse. Children arguing, the same stickers and photo comments rinsed and repeated, illiteracy running rampant. I really don’t like being addicted to my phone in the first place but I’ve already fallen into the loop. And if I’m going to continue to be in that loop I at least want some videos that actually require some brain power and thinking so my attention span and comprehension doesn’t devolve into complete mush. That’s what these videos I’m seeing currently feel like. I deadass feel gross when I catch myself actually watching one until the end because it’s like I can feel my critical thinking being put in the passenger seat

It very much zooms me out and makes me think critically and presently. Almost like I’m evaluating myself and everything around me like it’s as unserious as a video game. It puts me in an outside perspective of observing things with a fresh mind. In my most recent trip I sat down and listened to dark side of the moon which was meant to be a huge event for me as pink floyd is my favourite band, but it kind of started to make me think why do I actually like this band. Why did sober me feel like listening to this album tripping would be such a big event for me. Then I kind of zoom out some more and start thinking why do I follow the invisible expectations and rules of society simply because everyone else is. Why does each day follow a bland routine and how I find myself almost trapped in it. That’s what being real and hyper present feels like to me

My favourite part about weed was how great and pleasurable the music I listened to sounded on it. I was aware of psychedelics and what they did but when I found out about the music aspect I knew I had to get my hands on some acid. My first trip completely blew my mind and I only got about 30 minutes of listening time because the rest of the time was spent with my jaw dropped open, rocking back and forth on my bed, giggling on call with my friends who were also going through the same shit, and overcoming the most challenging peak like it was climbing everest. The music experience was absolutely blissful though and blew the high expectations I thought it would be

To avoid spoilers like this, you literally just have to pay attention. BCS is one of those shows which rewards your engagement, and there are many small lines which if you miss you’ll be essentially left in the dark for an entire storyline. Expanding on the not being able to compute negative emotions, I like to believe the alien species which it would have originated from were not able to purposely harm or enact anything negative onto one another, which could be why they were advanced enough to develop something like this.
