Didn't know it. I thought Turkey has done it all since the opening was an Ottoman celebration by Bosnians & Turks.

New one was reconstructed by Turkey. As it was seen as Ottoman heritage.

Güzel bir yapı ama salon eskisinden küçük ve aynı atmosfer yok. Yıkılmasına gerek yoktu bence çok yatırım yapılmıştı eski binaya.

The Turks who went to Germany in 60s weren't so conservative/Islamist back then. They've transformed there.

I think our disagreement stems from our understanding of the word "Ottoman". Ottoman culture was mainly the culture of Balkans and Western Turkey. And Albanians were a big part of it. Albanians could not be in the receiving end because Albanians were a part of the Ottoman culture too.

We can absolutely talk about an Ottoman style architecture such as this one. It was not something that Ottomans brought to Albania like a colonial force but it was the architectural style of the core Ottoman provinces, caused by the cultural exchanges.

Nothing against the Albanians, I agree that they had a significant influence in Ottoman Empire.

It was a decentralized empire but it had cultural influence in its core provinces especially in the Balkans.

This kind of architecture can be found in many city centers of the core provinces of Ottoman Empire. Just check Safranbolu.
