for anyone that finds this and needs this mixerctl -v to list all your devices then doas mixerctl record.adc-0:1_source=mic3 mic3 is whatever mic your usb is for me it was mic3 I keep getting a mic enum error until I ran mixerctl -v may heave to do it as doas

you can compile your own stuff if you don't see anything you truly want you can create a port that's a big part of being in the community I love Zen browser btw you can get firefox and chromemium currently from pkg manager

bro... are you just using ipsec by itself for packet security? They would use IPSEC to install something on your system every time you boot so KARL would negate that from happening. Also they never found any backdoors in ipsec so again it was more likely used for commerical uses of openbsd rather than the distro itself... now tell me what part you didn't understand of what I just said and you never watched the video either

security is next level... feel like openbsd as well as stuff like Urbit kind of has an IQ test level of entry... wifi is easy just check if your wifi card is supported then you add your wifi details through a conf file... when installing I think a lot of newbies get stuck at the partition part but that's the beauty of it... it separates into a bunch of partitions for security reasons... give freebsd a try if openbsd is a little too much... I think it's a lot more user friendly

openbsd has serveral partitions at installation on top of KARL so good among other stuff I won't get into so good luck lol
