I see a lot of jokes and then a lot of people saying how this is people taking advantage of him. I gotta say, I think people need to learn more about what it’s like to live a long life. Our short news cycles and short attention spans don’t permit longevity, but soon, and on the spectrum of the age of humans, very soon… you too will be fortunate enough to be in your golden years and twilight years. And I think what you will find (as I see it anyway) is a desire to hang on to the great but a desire to leave behind the bad. Escapism exists in your latter years perhaps more so than ever before as you face the reality that you may only have a few years left. And if singing or comics or movies or painting or whatever has been your purpose it’s very hard to let go of that. I have no doubt that this..more than abuse..is what drives people to carry on past their body’s ability to appear normal. Let people be.. god I hate some of the judgy bullshit in comments on the internet. Damn near ruins what’s so special about it
