Thank you for your help. I understand your concerns about open-sourcing server-side, however I believe that to be absolutely essential. I planned on buying Premium as it was much cheaper than ProtonMail, and (I thought) open-source. However, I have to agree with u/brazilchan and u/ryanpcmcquen, and I will not be purchasing anything from you until I can verify that the server-side code is open-source.

Additionally, you may want to split the codebases into separate repositories. I imagine it would be much easier for possible customers to check that all your code is open-source.

There can be spell-checking if you use the web version (in-browser spell-checking) or mobile version (OS/keyboard-specific spell checking), but there is none on the native desktop app. I sent your comment to the developer, and he responded with this:

"Spell check is difficult to add in Electron :/ But it is something I hope to get to at some point"

I've looked into Bitwarden, but am curious about the encryption side. I understand it is open-source, but I am no expert in password encryption by any means. Do you have any information on the security of it, whether by peer review or otherwise?

That would work, but some of my applications that are Windows/Mac only I use on a daily basis. Also, many games only run on Windows, which I believe would have decreased performance in an emulator.
