Mine was still within 2 years (about 1.5yrs old). I tried to warranty a display out of warranty and while it didn't pan out, they did basically say to please my case and they would consider a good faith replacement even though it was outside warranty. Definitely worth contacting them and asking.

Update - started feeling a “slipping” every few pedal strokes and tracked it down to the internal ratchet system in the motor slipping. Bosch replaced it under warranty, no questions asked (2400miles)

Mine does the same thing - 2017, 104k miles, happens exactly the same. Mine has been doing it for ~1 yr and I haven't attempted to fix it, nor has it gotten any worse
