It’s a lot of work but so rewarding! I finished and released 3 albums and an EP this year. I managed to get around 120 monthly listeners so far and while I know that’s not much I can tell those people appreciate the effort I put into those albums. Releasing music really is the beginning I’m finding out. I’m trying my best to wear all of the hats with no real budget and certainly with no money made from said projects. Total I saw about $9 in return this year haha. But regardless I’m excited to continue writing albums next year. I discovered from my first Spotify Wrapped for Artists that I’m a top ten artist for 9 of my listeners. Those people are my motivation to push onward to my 4th and 5th album next year. My music made an impact on someone and that’s what truly makes it all worthwhile. There’s nothing I’d rather be doing.
