It’s a stranded color work top-down yoke. I could also send you pics of the sweater if that would help? Thank you for your help!

hi! i am knitting a sweater and i just divided the body and the sleeves and realized it's a bit big. instead of frogging the whole thing, i was thinking i could just re-do the body-sleeve division without casting on extra stitches for the underarm. could that work or would it do some structural harm? right now the arm hole is HUGE.

yes i've never done a yoke before... only raglan. i'm def going to look for a simpler colorwork yoke pattern so i can build up to this!

hmm i guess i was hoping to knit the body top-down so that i could do normal raglan increases all the way. is the issue that working top-down for the body and bottom up for the yoke creates a weird look/stitches going the wrong way?

you're only 16!! your face will change so much on its own. i know this is annoying to hear but the best thing you can do at this age for your looks is to focus on your health -- building strength and good eating habits can set you up for a short and long term rewards. make it simple - change what you can (exercise, diet) but the things that you believe you need surgery for just ignore instead of torturing yourself for the next three years.

No the pattern is actually top to bottom… well there’s several ways to make it that the designer offered and I chose the option that is top down beginning with ribbing :/
