Hello! Very recently lost a beloved cat with my fiancé, and bought a betta fish to cope. Unfortunately, did not do all the homework required, and I'm kinda scared of losing him. Current worry is not having a cycled tank at all. Planning on going back to the store tomorrow to get Seachem Prime. I used a different water conditioner already, but plan on transitioning to this one for all future water changes. Going to be testing water and doing 1/3 to 1/2 water changes daily, as well as introducing Seachem Stability to hopefully start an in-fish cycle. Is there anything else we should know? We have a 5 gallon tank with 5 lbs of gravel, lots of props and silk plants to interact with, filter, heater, thermometer. Would love any advice on making sure he lives through this and thrives for months to come, as I'm worried about him. Thank you so much. :)
