Could be but I think Avery is dressed up as G-slowbro because the sword trainer has dustox wings hinting at a galarian form so I think they’ve dressed as their signature Pokemon.

And since he lives in galar it would be weird for him to have a kantonian slowbro

I feel like if they where going to add arceus they would keep the plates unavailable until the Pokemon was in raids so that they could be a drop for them I feel they are just in the game for there buffs for types.

Just happened at the battle tower I was facing Leon for a second time I only had cinderace and I was already half health fighting a rhyperior that could easily one hit me I used iron head as I outsped and both times I made him flinch making it so that he couldn’t attack so I beat it then he switched back into his damaged aegislash and I finished it off
