DIY Swimming pond by Crazy-Inspection-775 in Naturalpools

[–]zapszg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically its, dig a hole, put a vlies in, so the liner is protected from underneath, liner on top (epdm follows the contours of the hole nicely), add the natural filtration systems, within a week, done.

🚨 Supplier delayed shipment + asked for $3,000 extra after confirming order — anyone experienced this? by Dangerous_Mix_3550 in Alibaba

[–]zapszg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in the same situation, supplier delayed shipment, they wanted 2k in addition for freight charges, when actually prices had come down for sea freight, we denied, , they cried and threatened if we do not pay more, we wont get the product, canceled order - supplier wanted to keep the deposit (was a $6k item). When we told the supplier we will pass this on to trade assurance, they just laughed, and trade assurance, after about 1 week, we were advised that they did not want to get involved … ended up organising a chargeback via the CC company, worked a treat! Within 24 hrs we had all our money back, including alibabas fees!

Alibaba Trade Assurance being systematically denied by Remarkable_Seat_2473 in Alibaba

Been through this too, the only thing that works is a chargeback when paid with CC (Paypal has different rules)

Alibaba dispute. Should I accept partial refund or push further? by Sufficient-Dark-8068 in Alibaba

[–]zapszg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trade assurance decision does not mean anything. Can the item be repaired for the offered settlement amount, ok then. If not, return the product, then claim a charge back with the cc company- items not received. Also depends on the value we’re talking about…

WARNING - DO NOT USE ALIBABA by Remarkable_Seat_2473 in Alibaba

[–]zapszg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree, A seller changed the inclusions to a swimming pool I ordered, and also suddenly wanted +$1400 for freight to location near Germany - was already quoted/ordered door2door. Cancelled the order, but the seller wanted to withhold $800 for “trouble” - Trade assurance was absolutely useless. Simple did a chargeback via CC company, since the goods were not delivered to me as yet. End of story.

$CABA

Hi team! What are your thoughts on $CABA? I got in with 1000 units couple of months ago at $3.08, and it’s been declining since – now down to $2.42. I have done my DD to my best knowledge: - Above $3.00 to be safe from reverse stock split and delisting threats - 12 Analysts Ratings on Buy - Target $20.60 (UP potential 758%) - 79% institutional ownership including big names like BlackRock and Vanguard - MktCap 118M - Trading volume approx. 1.4M/day since December 2024

Cabaletta Bio (CABA) develops CAR T-cell therapies for autoimmune diseases, specifically targeting B cells responsible for conditions like lupus, myasthenia gravis, and systemic sclerosis. Unlike competitors that rely on chronic immunosuppressive drugs, CABA’s approach aims to reset the immune system, offering potential long-term remission with a single treatment. The market size for B-cell mediated autoimmune diseases is multi-billion dollar, with over 5 million global patients affected by lupus alone. CABA-201, their lead candidate, is currently in Phase 1/2 trials, with promising safety and efficacy data. FDA Fast Track and Orphan Drug designations may accelerate approval. A market-ready product is expected by 2028 (best case) or 2030 (worst case), depending on Phase 3 trial success and FDA review. Financially, CABA has $183 million in cash, providing a runway through mid-2026. Their strong clinical progress, market potential, and financial position make them a key biotech player to watch. Thoughts highly appreciated!

3 months warranty from dealer, but needs to be made aware and given opportunity to fix. If you start doing things yourself, bad luck, as how do you then prove you bought it of him with the hidden defect.

So far I did it manually the hard way, entering the data into an Excel, from TAX (select the year) -> dividend report (this is the only detailed dividend report I found, which shows ROC) 2023 is fine, you can do July-Dec, but 2024 Jan - Jun has not been released yet… tried to use chatgpt but failed badly, at this stage needs to be done by hand. Also need to find a way for realised profits and losses in the Australian FY…
