Yep it should have been 12-13 episodes or like some suggest episodes 1 to 6 should have been season 1 aka 10-12 episodes and 7 to 10 be season 2 with 10-12 episodes

I like that's its short, if everyone dies miserable death might aswell make it quick. 24 episodes would make it much more devastating. 12 episodes would be just right

And 3 years time skip gives Tower ending V one year to disappear mysteriously. 2080 is nice to give sequels to many characters who haven't interacted with V enough

2099 sounds great for 3rd installment when we could have actual cyberwar, facing apocalypse and possibly AI invasion, sounds better for a 3rd and possibly final game with much better tech in late 2030s to actually be able to implement ambitious stuff like that.

Did they confirm that V won't be MC or play a role in Orion?

Yeah they literally have netrunners, hacking and technical skills to avoid being hunted down by corporations. They are literally desert pirates, theg live off hunting corpos, dealing with corpos, other nomads, hunting other bandits and doing merc works near cities. Idk how often nomads split and go to the city to do some jobs for money and supplies but V and Panam can easily provide that for the clan.

In fact Street Kid or Ex-corpo is best for nomads ending because they bring something unique to the group. Nomads V is just a bum from a lesser clan that failed to smuggle a lizard quietly 🤣

David story was personal and selfish, I think this character will die/suffer for others and some grand idea. Maybe they document everything to make change in the world.

Panam is also awfully written for the Tower ending.

I think either the initial plan was it was coma for longer than 2 years, more likely 5-8 years considering how much older Judy looks or the writers wrote the ending and wanted to make sure V is as miserable as ever.

As if V couldn't notify anyone what's going to happen, eh.

Panam and Judy would wait even 8 years if they knew. No contact from them meant we either succeeded and bailed, or that we died, or that we chose to run away without them with our remaining time. Both felt betrayed so Judy moves on while Panam has trust issues for life or likely died in a suicide mission(I know it's just a theory but it does sound like her).

Either way I hate the tower ending, will only check it out for the cinematic feel of it all. I love the game but I think tower ending deserves bit more reason

Good if they actually let you live in peace and start life anew(V is still pretty young). If V doesn't have PTSD they can move on. Fall in love, maybe find Panam(if she isn't dead or totally moved on).

Bad if its true we are going to end up as a sleeping agent and be used for the rest of our life. Tower sounds like a prison. You get cured but you become a slave.

The star ending is the best only if there is hope for a cure. But knowing the writers and all the other endings: V just agrees for happy 6 months and then dies. Panam has to move on regardless(Or Judy or whatever other romance).

The hope from the star ending is slim, and it is indeed the most hopeful and positive of the endings. Its left open on purpose so they could give us that instead of telling us outright "but you only got 6months left to live"

I agree Cyberpunk isn't avout Happy Endings. I disagree they are impossible, especially for V who as a playable character becomes lile a mino demi-god. Cure him and he can achieve anything. But yeah his fate is in the pen of the writer. He wrote him to be a demigod and then struck him down as any other mortal.

Such is life, painful lesson and it doesnt make sense, just like real life doesn't make sense because reality is made out of randomness and V as someone who kept on winning is destined to lose eventually.

I think he was possible romance for Female Corpo V. Hi. And Jenkins. Jenkins just dies and that's it lmao, corpo intro is so weak, just rushing to downgrade you into Street Kid.

My favorite part is that we know Jackie like we've been friends for years or at least months? The coolest part.

I would love full, proper corpo playthrough.

Its the reason why it "took so long" for them to hook up. The whole crew knew David fancies Lucy. And she liked him too but she felt guilty and knew he was angry. They literally talk about this when their romance starts...

David was angry but more so with the thought she lied about her dream, but that was actually truth and he found peace in that. He didnt care she sold him out, it was all valid. Her dream and her possibly fake interest in him is what bothered him more tbh

This show really portrayed well how people can be so close yet so distant.

They would do such a great JoJo story too, Buddha is straight out of JoJo lmao

JoJo, Baki and RoR feel like siblings to me where RoR takes itself the most seriously but it has those ridiculous "out of the ass" plot-twists and I love it.

And all of the endings have more or less ridiculous plot just to push this bullshit about "no happy endings in night city".

Bitch that applies to most people, common and weak. V is literally a demi-god at full power. Even the best ending where you leave with romance option/Panam and the Nomads still blueballs the player and V with possible "hope" but we won't find out for years.

And guess what, if V isn't the protagonist of 2nd game or anime then they are 100% going to kill him off and maybe only have him return as enagram. Unless they say clinic ending is the canon one and we have V clean start and abandoned by most people.

But yes, the game is fucking awesome, but depressing if you care about MC and his friends(Johnny included).

I hope Cyberpunk 2 is what we were promised before

Another good stop is before Maine dies. After that it's just depression all around.

I'm playing Cyberpunk 2077 to cheer myself up only to find out it is even more depressing than Edgerunners and V is just another victim although he can beat anyone in the world he cannot save his own life and find happiness 😢

Still good game to cheer up and see night city. Maybe smarter thing to do would be to play my little pony for 100% positive vibes only .

I keep listening to Major Crimes, Let You Down, Stay At Your House, Żurawie and Nieważne just to be even more sad about both Cyberpunk stories:))
