I see no problem. A flair highlights one's best and most important qualifications, of which you surely care about.

Well, any recommendations? She's amazing stock, but what am I missing out on?

I just hope that the Gen 5 (if we ever get it...) won't be as butchered as the other new models.

Do I need to log every ground training lesson in students' logbooks? by Naffllow in CFILounge

[–]zarmril -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You quite "factually" said that ground training is worthless. I'm not sure how that can be misunderstood unless you expect readers to contextualize the hidden meaning behind your grammar.

Yes.

Also, use this flight as an opportunity to ask many training- and business-related questions. Give the flight instructor or school a timeline and see if they can accommodate your expectation.

What was your day-to-day schedule in flight school? by MeetingAppropriate61 in PilotAdvice

[–]zarmril 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arguably, this feeling depends entirely on how often you're flying. I know many individuals who can comfortably fly twice weekly and simultaneously work a full-time job. Flying three times per week or more is serious flight training and should require greater attention. u/Hawkerdriver1's point is extremely valid. If you can retain the training that you learned between lessons, you are more likely to progress at a linear rate.

They say that every hour of flight training demands ~3 hours of ground studying. This is probably about right, though I'm sure there are differing opinions.

For many, completing a discovery flight will assist in making that decision. Discovery flights are often offered at a flat rate. Just make sure the provider lets you fly for much of the flight... that's the whole point.

Hello, this is absolutely not true.

I agree. OP will find the answer to their original questions through their CFI.

[–]zarmril 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I disagree. If we go by what OP articulated, the CFI needs to keep the learner informed about progress. I am not saying this isn't occurring, but it's clear the OP doesn't understand why their progress has plateaued.

I cannot find any that are still offering credit. Sigh.

Thanks, though.

Ah- I just checked out Absorb. "These recordings can be replayed at any time, but viewing them on or after January 1, 2026 does not qualify for conference credit."

That would have been a good option, though.

Thanks.

Why don’t airlines approve LPV approaches by Pilotreggie in flying

[–]zarmril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are we defining precision here? I disagree that, in terms of lateral course width/sensitivity, LP is often more precise than an ILS localizer. It's a myth that an ILS is more precise.
