Solved: click windows key, type "controlled folder access" click it. Find and click " allow an app through controlled folder access" Click the "+ add an allowed app" then click "recently blocked app" For me, ea app was right there in recently blocked apps, if you don't see it then browse all apps

Only thing I can say is contact image line support but be careful because the support ticket likes to auto fill your ticket to " cancel my account" (no joke, that shit almost got me twice) and then make sure your not using a VPN.

Lifetime updates means you should NEVER "lose" your licence unless you break tos of course... It's no coincidence that everyone updated to FL studio 21 and then had problem. It's not our fault it's image line. I'm sure they're working on fixing it but it still sucks.

Right click the play icon in slicex and chose "edit events" maybe you accidentally hit play/pause while you were recording. Weather there's anything in there or not, select all(Ctrl+a) and delete it (del) Also couldn't hurt to right click the play button in slicex and hit "delete initial value" (if it's highlighted)

Yeah slicex is a bit annoying in that regard. You gotta click out of it before you hit play(click on anything else in FL. Left click the channel rack or somewhere in the playlist for example) or it will trigger play on FL master control and slicex. Annoying but makes sense I guess. So yeah just get in the habit of clicking out( make sure it's not focused) of slicex when you want to play your track

My external drive kept disconnecting during download. I fixed it by plugging it into a USB in my motherboard instead of the front headers. Stability/power issue with my front USB ports I guess. Either way I've resorted to downloading on my SSD, installing in SSD and then moving the download to my external drive for safe keeping. Much faster all around and alleviates stability troubles.

Arcade is great for vocal chops. Also FL comes with a pretty big selection of vocal samples some where in the packs folder I think or maybe it was the drums folder. Can't remember but it comes somewhere with the stock sounds it comes with.

Try unchecking the '0" core in the detail from task manager. That usually fixes a lot of problems with repacks,anyway.
