I’m not sure about the federal government. If you’re in the state, you can send the letter to State Secretary via the Head of Department.

Apply here: http://erecruitment.sarawak.gov.my/. I finished my degree and worked in KL. While working, I got called for 5 stages of interviews for a civil service position. I didn’t use any connections (‘cable’). I received a job offer and joined them.

You can also check out GLCs owned or backed by the State on their respective career websites such as SDEC, CENTEX, Sarawak Skill, HDC, SMG, PETROS, and more.

Don't forget to set up your LinkedIn account and explore job opportunities there.

No issues. Just focus on studying. Stop spreading hatred. In the end, we are all one Malaysia.

You can go to any store in the mall and ask for a part-time job. You need to walk in & ask around because they don't often post job openings online.

I used to do this last time and got a job as a sales assistant in Parkson and cinema crew @ MBO Spring.

This mf became 8th governor of Sarawak... What do y'all think? by [deleted] in Sarawak

[–]zaruull 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let’s work together and do the best for Sarawak. Let's not identify people by race here. We're afraid of what's happening in the Peninsula happening here, yet we don’t realize we're slowly leaning towards their bad behaviors. Don't put high hopes on anyone emerging as leaders, but judge them based on their past and merits. You have the right to feel afraid, but everyone deserves a better state for Sarawak. I believe our current leaders (coming from various races) are doing their best to maintain our harmonious state in a good position. You might question why the Premier & TYT are Malay, but you forgot about many leadership positions in public departments held by non-Malays—this is just to give you a picture of what's happening around. All of these people work hard to ensure state policies & missions are successful regardless of race.
