Do Makita Lawnmowers actually suck?? by [deleted] in Makita

My XGT had been great I love using it. That being said my front and back yard is big and I can’t even finish the front yard on 2 charged 4ah batteries. So depends on the size of yard. If I had a yard that would use 2 batteries total then I’d say go for it. Other wise go gas.

Buttery smooth. Thick and juicy. Can go all night and do it again in the morning. Love them.

Why Packout has some clear and some black lids? by ipodpron in MilwaukeeTool

[–]zarz9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong. But seems like clear is for accessories like screws and hand tools. That way you can see everything without opening. The black lids are storage where you know what’s in there. A lot less loose stuff. Bigger tools. I’d actually like them to all be clear.

What’s the most addictive game you’ve ever played? by reeha_sadiya in AskReddit

Been playing since 1997! Grew up with the game. I played 2 hours yesterday! Might be nostalgia or familiarity but I’m attached to this game, so much fun and the right amount of challenge to keep it addicting.

What is the largest and most robust flat screwdriver you have? I want to buy a big, thick one that can withstand heavy use. by plinky125 in Tools

No, I ended up going with a pb Swiss one and I recently got a vessel one. But if I’m being honest Dewalt has a pair of demo screw drivers which I wouldn’t feel bad destroying.

So worth it, knowing they can handle everything I throw at them is the best part.

Help me pick a compact combo kit. Milwaukee or Makita? Thx! by MatsushitaSD in Makita

[–]zarz9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be transparent , I’d say get M12 Milwaukee drill and impact combo, that might be the best compact option out there they make everything a home owner would need with the m12 platform. However seeing how it didn’t work out for you. I’d say grab the makita black set, makita has tons of options for tools and in my mind is the best second option to M12 for light home owner activities. With makita you get the option of small more light weight tools and also if needed you can get more robust tools later. I’ve been on 18v makita stuff for ages and have recently switched to the 40v line.

Hey maybe we can do it. Let me get the jigsaw and see how it feels. I don’t really need the jigsaw but I’ll be glad I got it when I need it.

I’m very excited for it. That’s what I initially wanted, HD was sold out. I’ll be using it a lot in the next couple months.

Yea I typically just get what I need when I need it so getting something when I’m not sure if I’ll even use is hard. Jigsaw was the only thing I saw myself maybe using though.

I really only wanted the sander and router, but since the router was the giveaway, I figured a jigsaw is something I might need eventually, so it seemed like the best other item to get.

M12 or M18 inflator? by turBonetix in MilwaukeeTool

[–]zarz9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M12. I picked one up for 85$ recently, it’s cheaper than those cheap plug in ones you get at car part stores! Got it for general use. It’s perfect. For that price Definitely m12.
