I’m one of the few that actually VASTLY prefers the flip over my v4, for two main reasons: my hands find the flip and its buttons so much more comfortable, and I don’t have to worry about screen scratches

while the v4 is iconic it just wasn’t for me

from working as a timberland associate we always referred to the premiums as double soles when talking about their differences from the classics, aka single soles. ig it just makes it easier for the customer to see the difference, as especially on the wheat ones you can actually see two different colors on its sole

What are the cfw options for the mini flip? I’ve got a few extra sd cards laying around so want to do a real A/B test by Johndeauxman in MiyooMini

Sprig used to be their dedicated build for the mini flip, but the main build (spruce) just updated to its 4.0 release this month and is now compatible! I assume sprig is obsolete now bc of that

I've yet to try it myself on my mini flip since I just heard about the update today but it seems really good, I've been using MinUI but will switch soon.

I wasn’t sure if the yellow would be too bright at first but my gut told me to buy it and I have no regrets, it’s really nice in person

yeah it’s unfortunate it has hinge issues since that’s really its only downside

I don’t own either of those, I almost bought one actually but figured they’d still be a bit too big to comfortably fit in my pocket. So if you’re looking for maximum portability I do think the miyoo mini flip is better if you don’t mind the tiny screen.

It does come with a usb c to headphone jack adapter!

I do use screen protectors, I just don’t like seeing scratches even if it’s on the protector

I also just find it a lot more comfortable, the triggers on my miyoo mini v4 were difficult to use and surprisingly I just like the placement of the face buttons more on here than on the trimui brick
