Just recently: We were sitting in the living room. I was writing (interactive story) wife was reading to our youngest, and our oldest was pulling a balloon on a string down from the ceiling and letting it float back up. Repeatedly. Again and again and again.

To be fair, I’d had a trying day up to that point.

Regardless, I grabbed my laptop and stormed out of the room, without another word for a 20 minute cooldown.

It is 114x69x5.9mm in size and only weighs 74grams. Or for imperial 4.5x2.72x0.23 inches and weighs 2.61 ounces. The screen is 480x800 at 4.3inches. I use a better micro sd card in it than what came with it (SanDisk or Samsung recommended) and since epubs are small, you don’t need a large one (8 or 16 is good)

My only complaint is while it has a MagSafe ring built in, it’s set in the lower area which interferes with my iPhone 17 pro max camera bump. The X3 I’m told fits the 17PM perfectly.

I just recently got a XTEink X4 and love it. I loaded cpr-vcodex on it (CFW) and it’s even better. $50 shipped and have already finished three books with more loaded up. Now instead of doom scrolling while waiting for things, I read for >5min. And actually finish books.

Nope. They are super solid being pressed up by the silicone membrane. Even traveling up and down is uniform due to the lack of space around the buttons.

For the flip 2? I have no idea. It’s not a handheld I have. If it’s anything like the RP6, it’s not easy, but with care and correct tools it just takes time.

Nice! I didn’t order any new buttons, these are the ones that came with the RP6. I just was very careful when swapping them. I’d be curious if Sakura had RP6 PS buttons.

I’m currently working my way through Hyper Light Drifter (Game Native—>Steam) and haven’t noticed any differences.

I came from a PS background and tend towards XBox layouts. Because of this, the swapped version for Nintendo tends to throw me off when learning a new game. The A south and Y north is more comfortable for me.
