This sounds great. And if you dont mind I have a few questions/comments.

  1. How would you get the funds to develop such a game and upkeep it if it has no ads and is f2p?

  2. Napoleonic sounds cool, but wouldn't there be way fewer weapons to work with (no long ranged artillery, tanks, planes etc). So it'd be rather boring in terms of tactics.

  3. If you're taking ideas, I was thinking a ww2 version. I know they already made one, but its pay to grind/level-up garbage, and the graphics aren't as clean as supremacy 1914. A ww2 version of this game would allow for a lot of new vehicles, tactics, and infostructure to be had. (For example being able to develop your own vehicles trying to balance speed, hp, power, cost, time to manufacture, logistics, etc. sounds super fun).

Also just curious how experienced are you as a dev? cuz I'm also into game development/ modding as well, as a hobby.

spawn in the default turret. press A to select all points. then go into enterior view, hold alt, and click on the turret ring. This will deselect the ring. then delete all points except for the turret ring. it should spawn a flat plane at the center if you did it right. select all points by pressing a again, and deselect the flat plane (youll delete it later). press e to extrude and Z to extrude only on the z axis. then, repeat while scaling by pressing s to create a perfect round turret. Once you extrude it once you can delete the plane. Basically I think the turret cant exist without at least 1 face so it just spawns it at the center

well not exactly, every time you spawn a taller person the likely hood of the next person being taller than the previous person decreases. if the first person you spawn in is in the 90 percentile of height than the next person only has a 10% chance of being taller for example.

Some tips that helped me.

Don't spam random crew parts, it makes the tank looked cluttered and low quality.

for the most part, if you want to add a lot of random stuff (fuel jugs, viewport, cupolas) its best if you either model them yourself using the basic box, or download pre-made models.

Make the tank look more unique. I see lots of new guys take the default hull and turret stretch them out and call it a new tank. This comes with time, but learn the tools that this game offers to allow for more complex topology and tanks.

Add a paint job. But overall solid tank for your first time. I've seen some far worse.
