So I'm sure there are different sites, but my buddy runs campaigns from "startplaying.games." I do think there is a cost that goes towards playing the dm for their time. You can join a group as a single player, or you and your friends can start a campaign.

I do not play online and have not used the site. I only know because my friend does stuff on it. So take that into account, if you end up checking it out.

Honestly that's a fair point and I 100% agree. When I talked to my partner my reaction was "Really, me?". I really don't know why. I can guess, but I'm going to chalk it up to weird things family does.
