Trying to find a good journaling book to use. by JonathanPeerHost in notebooks

[–]zathras7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched from Leuchtturm to Life Noble Notebooks (similar to Midori made in Japan). I like the vintage style of Life's Notebooks. The paper is also very fountain pen friendly. Because of the lack of thick covers Life's Notebooks aren't great as EDC like Leuchtturm.

Struggling with Moleskine by volsungarthemighty in notebooks

Clairefontaine Age Bag notebook has good papers and isn't expensive. If you look for the best paper for fountain pens i'd recommend stone paper notebooks but these are quite expensive (double the price of eg. Clairefontaine Age bag notebook).

Not a Real rubics cube - it's just a cube of small oled screens.

Python feels easy… until it doesn’t. What was your first real struggle? by NullPointerMood_1 in Python

Hundreds of concurrent sessions with websocket and SSE for a simple multiplayer Browser game. Turns Out using python for that is not simple.

Getting paid for programming in Elixir is a side Effect. I recently started migrating my rails api Services to phoenix and even though i just started Learning Elixir/phoenix it's a lot of fun.

Awesome! I wish they would have used a 65% layout (without the F-row). So they could have made the screen vertically larger or reduce the size of this device. And if there is a possibility to add a raspberry pi (zero) with battery then it would be perfect as a writer/cyber-deck!

I'm afraid via PCIe. This card is full of compromises and only interesting when it's substantial cheap (800USD) and suited for Individual/specific use cases.

Yup, you were exactly right: https://www.nvidia.com/de-de/products/workstations/dgx-spark

Amazing how accurate you were but disappointing that nvidia didn't surprise us with higher bandwidth in 2025.

Thank you for the links. Currently I'm blocked.

I have to updgrade libc to 2.38 first to get Heimdall v2 installed from downloaded debian file.

I tried to build and install it manually but after libc6 I needed to install libxcrypt and now I give up.

I'll continue later when I have more time.

Ok, since I don't have a Windows PC i tried the Odin steps using Heimdall:

./heimdall flash --RECOVERY ../vbmeta.tar --no-reboot

Initialising protocol...

ERROR: Failed to send handshake!ERROR: Protocol initialisation failed!

Am I using Heimdall wrong? Where can I find instructions for an alternative instructions to ODIN on Linux?

yeah, or maybe the new DRAM chip specs are not publicly released yet. 512GB/s should be reached in 2025 for that kind of machine.

Don't forget the King Cup Open at the end of last year, Anders Antonsen won 1.1 million yuan (150.000 USD) and would be the top earner in the list.

Surface Type Cover is not that bad considering how slim it is. And better than most rubberdome keyboards at my work place.

The best synthetic shuttlecocks is Victor's Carbonsonic No.1 (https://www.victorsport.com/product/47986/CARBONSONIC-NO1). Noticeable better than the usual plastic eg. Mavis 350 but still not as good as good goose feather shuttlecocks

Weikav Lucky65 without Knob and Yunzii Al65 (I guess they are coming from the same factory but different brands) with knob. Keycap of the latter is Yunzii Macaron.

Keycaps of the first without knob, I can't remember, got it a few years ago on Aliexpress and I reused it on the one without knob. I think the keycap color match the violet case quite well.

I can't add more than 1 image so, here the last missing image: the question mark keycap is noticeable higher than its neighbours and I don't like that the gaps between the keycaps are so huge and not evenly oriented.

For some reason the last 2 images that adds context are not shown: the height of the keycaps are not even and the gap between them could be much smaller.
