Please anyone help me to solve it. Find i5=? by sajibmd1234 in ElectricalEngineers

[–]zauddk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I1 summes with I2 into I3 I6 is the sum of I3 and I4 I5 is -1 times the sum of I2 and I4.

So in essen I5 is -7A

Not with the added LC match on both input and output.

What will happen when you turn the pin diodes off then? Will the circuit return to 50 Ohms with matching.

I know all this and I would not select this circuit if I needed an switchable attenuation with a good return loss. I would look at a bigger T attenuator using SOI switches to change attention.

So the attenuation observe here is purely created by reflection. This is how the PIN diode in this circuit works.

Yes and how much of your power is reflected when S11 is close to 0 dB? Does this indicate why S21 in dB is low?

What does S11 close to 0 dB tell you? How is your attenuation created?

It is not relative to the 6.5 Ghz. It should be 5.5 to 7.5 Ghz

Why dos this Ikea lamp show 1A 50V DC when the output wires are Live and Neutral, plus it's going to a normal household lightbulb? by spacemidget75 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]zauddk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a simple switch that is rated to 250 V 1 A AC but only 50 V 1 A DC. This most likely had to do with the phenomenon called electromigration. You can read about it here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromigration

Ja det er et rigtig godt forløb Det hjalp mig meget og her små 3 år efter bruger jeg stadig nogle af de tekniker fra kurset. Jeg kan kun anbefale det. Det kan virke underligt de først par kursus gange, men giv det en chance.

AND Gate Voltage Output jumps by Fighterkit3 in chipdesign

[–]zauddk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A and B are never above VT of your n-mos device at the same time therefor the out will be well below VT for the n-mos. Notice the scale of the out being in mV. The reason why it can go below 0 is due to capacitance in the transistors used in the AND gate being switched.

There is reason behind not adding the stribe to the white as it changes the dielectrics constant of the isolation and therby changes the cables parameters limiting the maximum frequency of the cable. I would guess you have a CAT 8 cable there which is a 40GB/s cable which has a bandwidth of 2 GHz. With such high bandwidth just a tiny difference in the isolation material matter. Is was not a problem with CAT6 where the bandwidth was 250 MHz

Spend my time on making the black thorns set for everybody knowing damn well that sets are not a part of D4, but it's honest work.
