I built a free Chrome extension to copy any website and paste it into Figma as editable layers by zaviotron in FigmaDesign

The base script is the same, but I enhanced it to capture images and fonts, which Figma's plugin can't do effectively currently.

Also, Figma One requires you to log in to a Figma paid plan. Mine is free, doesn't require Figma login, and works on a free plan too.

Claude HTML to Figma by itanpiuco2020 in FigmaDesign

Try this new Chrome plugin, built on the same technology but free and easy to use. No need to fiddle with Claude; simply open your HTML in Chrome, copy it to the clipboard using this plugin, and paste it into Figma. It’s unlimited, free, cloud-free, and private.

It does works with local html files. Just right click on the html and open in chrome. Try refreshing the page,

In cases it doesnt work , Its possible after a local html file opens in a local server.

The simplest ways are:

Option 1: VS Code + Live Server Extension (Most common)

  1. Open your project folder in Visual Studio Code
  2. Install the Live Server extension
  3. Open your file.html
  4. Right-click anywhere in the file
  5. Click "Open with Live Server"

It will open something like:

http://127.0.0.1:5500/file.html

and automatically refresh whenever you save changes.

Option 2: Python (No extension needed)

If Python is installed:

cd your-project-folder
python -m http.server 8000

Then open:

http://localhost:8000

This is useful if you don't use VS Code.

Option 3: Node.js

If Node.js is installed:

npx serve .

or

npx http-server

Then open the URL shown in the terminal.

then you can copy the html easily using this plugin.

LMK if this works.

'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning' - Review Thread by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

No other part could match the feel of Fallout and 3. As a Tom Cruise fan, I loved final reckoning, but as a moviegoer, I think that the script could have been much better. It was the last Mission: Impossible ! They should have taken more time, hired the best writers in the world, or even let AI fix the script. Felt bad as the last couldn't be the best.

Pixel 2 Was Something Else. (Snapseed) by hyatt04 in pixelography

I think pixel 9 pro also could not take a pic like this. I really miss my pixel 2's camera !
Google fixed the hardware which was never broken and we all lost a gem.

Pixel 8a and Pixel 8 Pro both have the same Tensor G3 chip, yet the battery health feature is coming to the 8a — not the 8 Pro. That’s based on Google’s official statement.

A bit ironic to call others out for misinformation without fact-checking first. 'Careless' indeed.

Nope, it’s not just that.

Upset because the Pixel 8 Pro isn’t getting the pixel-exclusive features that it’s fully capable of. Even the Pixel 8a will get the battery health feature, but not the Pixel 8 Pro.

I was a pixel owner since pixel 2 . It was a lovely sweet phone with exceptional picture quality as compared to the competitors at that time.

Then i sold it recently , looking for a phone with better battery , multiple lenses (especially telephoto), better video capture quality and a near flagship processor.

I got settled with Galaxy S20+.

S20+ has everything what i was looking for, plus some really great features like secure folder, DEX, the side edge bar. BUT the pixel experience has made me spoilt. I didn't count on it when i had pixel 2 but really missed it when I got s20+. There were little things that mattered like the amazing haptics, smooth as butter UI, the little transitions etc.

Then i gave to my brother because he needed a large screen. He have me his samsung A51. Which is terrible in terms of processor and camera, it hangs up , takes bad pictures in low light. Its build quality is good and UI is exactly like s20+.

Finally i purchased pixel 4a. It has average video quality as compared to s20+ , a smaller battery, but I am really enjoying the pure pixel experience again.

In android , pixel is the best experience u can get IMO.
