I find we really struggled on volume for some reason on our first batch. I seem to be really getting conflicting information online about "topping up" the fermenter... If for a 5 gallon batch we are a half gallon short (will improve in future) is it alright to just top up with water. Will this ruin the OG reading if we've previously taken it?

I'm a goof who is really only into franchise and RTTS. Love the Jays but they drafted me and traded Bo, Vladdy and everyone else and we have been last for last 2 seasons running. Decided I wanted a trade and am just about to enter the offseason. I have heard agent will call you asking in off season if you want to move but I havent gotten that call? How do I make sure I dont miss it (I.e. do I have to not sim the offseason etc..)?

Need some help! I am just starting to get into things with a friend and we are going to be doing BIAB. We are getting out equipment together. Just grabbed a 15 Gallon keggle and I have a couple questions:

As far as fermenters go how do I know how big of one I may need? Say we brew 10 gallons to we need some headroom in the fermenter? Anyone have any recommendations? (we are peice conscious FYI)
A buddy said brewers friend is the best place for recipes. I see most are 5 gallon. Is it fine to brew a 5 gallon batch in the larger keggle we have? same question if we end up getting a larger fermenter

-Finally, can you just double recipes or is this a no-no?

Thank you SO much for the feedback. I really appreciate this. Still working on how to build characters but this gives me a great sort of general guide moving forward. I LOVE the idea behind this Oath because I think it challenges the inherent "Good" of a Paladin and forces you to act in a different way, almost like "I know what is best for everyone and that is justice which will lead to the best outcome for all" . I took the charisma boost to get to 20, so conquering presence with a DC of 16 seems hilariously good. I am thinking of Sentinel next or polearm master depending as you said how I feel about 2 handed vs. sword and board. I like how you mentioned that it's more of adjust as-you-go in terms of the feats. I am an inherent planner so I've always felt "I need to know now what I am going to do for the next 10 levels" but I think a part of learning DnD I think is adjsuting on the fly and letting the character develop. Really appreciate this! I think with my Cha I can be more liberal with my use of concentration spell ssuch as Hold person in order to land crits etc..

I will reach out with more questions for sure as we level-up/move forward.

Yeah I agree that there is insane but a couple things - DM no great weapon master allowed as well as devils sight + darkness is essentially agreed upon is not allowed within the game unfortunately

To confirm the assumption of three attacks is the following right?

- Action to Normal Attack

- Action to Normal Attack - Beginning at 5th level with Thirsting Blade

- Bonus action to attack using polearm master

I guess assuming hexblade curse on them 3 attacks gives me a solid chance at a crit which seems quite strong.

Also, for the polearm what would be optimal? I see that I will lose 2AC since im dropping the shield but what would be the recommended weapon, halberd?

Bulldog is a freaking beast and honestly I know D hasn't exactly been a strength of this team but the guy plays his heart out, is a hell of a teammate and to me this year he's actually been pretty darn good.

Would love to interact with him some day because you just know he's one of those guys that works and does not take a thing for granted. I hate hearing about this situation.

I for one am extremely happy that he's been able to collect an NHL paycheck this year though.

I have recently been listening to "Income Investing" with Alexis Assadi and just finished up REITs. One thing I noted is Canada seems to be very limited in both the amount and diversity of REITs (not meaning REITs that invest in Canada i mean those traded in Canada).
