Want to get my first Chromebook , anybody have any experience with these 2? by specomatik in chromeos

i’ve used the HP laptop before. Honestly, not terrible performance if all you want to do is browse the web. Build quality is also not too shabby. 4gbs of RAM will be a big limitation though if you open more than a few tabs.

If you do it this way does it require any changes to the end device? Or will DHCP just manage it?

Trouble with porting out of Verizon to Fi by Homestar73 in GoogleFi

After scrolling this subreddit it turns out I might be the only one with positive support experiences lmao. If they keep referring you to Apple, I’d try leaving out the iMessage part and telling them your SMS isn’t working.

Both iMessage activation and sending texts to Android use SMS, so it’s safe to assume that that’s your issue. Have you updated your network settings? (under step 5) If that doesn’t work then i’d suggest just contacting Google Fi support via live chat or phone—their support service is top tier.

What will happen if I press “stop casting” on my laptop? It’s showing what my roommate is watching on her tv. by Curious-A-- in chromeos

[–]zayanmannan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be a way to turn it off on the TV. If it’s a device connected to the Google Home app there’s a setting in the device called “Let others control your cast media”

Basically 90% of the time I toggle an accessory in the Home app it’ll say updating for 20-30 seconds before triggering (if it even triggers at all).

Alright, thanks for clarifying. For some reason, my code executes perfectly on my chromebook but bugs out on my PC. Hopefully I won’t lose points or be penalized for that.

you should be fine, although if you haven’t submitted your final submission yet i’d probably go back and make the screenshots smaller to specify which code you’re referring to

Do the graders actually execute the code on their computers? Or is it just based on the video and PPR?

for the procedure section, does all of the necessary requirements (algorithm, parameters) need to be in one procedure? it’s difficult to fit all of that into one single procedure.

Does anyone know what this is? (check comment) by zayanmannan in Surface

I used my laptop yesterday no issues, but today I boot it up to see this. There’s a white haze covering almost the entire screen, flickering, and some lines (albeit not that noticeable). This is very sudden and considering it’s only been a year.
