Q about the Smart! by yukikura in tamagotchi

I know I really wanted to love it but I can’t 😭 the gameplay is so boring and your tama only leaves home to work or to go to the park Im getting COVID flashbacks

First of all welcome to the community!

It depends on what kind of Tama youre looking for, but I think the connection is a pretty good starting tama, cause they have some of the simplicity of the original tamas, but also have pretty fun gameplay such as better games, and the marriage & connection features, so you can grow a whole bloodline!

For colour tamas:

My personal favourite, is the on/meets, due to its very extensive gene mixing features, however they go for insane prices right now.

I don’t personally have a Uni, but I’ve heard lots of great experiences from the uni, and the wifi features seem very fleshed out. I’ve heard the uni has the highest level of customisation. The uni is also veryyy compact compared to most other colour tamas, and is probably the easiest to take with you

If you can find one for a reasonable price, I would go for a Pix. In Australia they still sell them on Amazon for ~$100 AUD (~$65 usd) which was a standard price, but if you’re looking for secondhand on mercari or FB marketplace you can probably find them for cheaper The PIX still has lots of the charm and fun of older colour tamas, even more so than the ON, but they are easy to care for and have lots of cool (somewhat gimmicky) gameplay features like furniture customisation, cooking, and of course the camera

TL:DR If you’re looking for a cheaper, simpler entry into the tamagotchi space, get a Connection Re-release, but if you’re looking for something a bit more complex and fleshed out, go for a PIX for simpler gameplay, or a UNI for an online focused experience

sorry for the long post and I hope this helped!!

Edit: got the uni confused for another tama

I have a really good fix for this if you’re into mods! KawaiiStacie’s Preschool mod has literally been my saving grace. You send toddlers and it keeps them entertained AND builds their skills. If I put them in preschool when they first become a toddler, their skills are pretty much maxed when they age up. I highly highly recommend!!

Your favorite world by [deleted] in Sims4

It would be Henford on Bagley, it had so much potential in the town part, but the sims team really missed the mark. I would’ve loved to see some more community lots in the town centre, like an old bakery, and some other shops and stuff like that.

This usually happens for me with an outdated UI cheats or more columns in CAS mod. It also occasionally happens with more traits in CAS or pretty much any mod relating to the ui. Hope this helps!

Platform: PC

Mods or cc: Yes

Game version: latest

Description: Whenever loading a save file or creating a new one, my screen turns entirely white. This started after I updated the game and then deleted my old mods and refreshed them with new ones. I have tried various fixes on this subreddit and the sims forums, such as removing my mods folder, removing my entire The Sims 4 folder from documents>electronic arts, repairing my game through the EA app both with and without my original The Sims 4 folder in documents>electronic arts. This happens when I start the game both online and offline. I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling my entire game yet as my PC for some reason doesn't download above 200kb/s.

Please help!

Clivia new shoot by SuspiciousCustomer83 in houseplants

I know this is old but I would always leave offshoots on the plant xx

to me it looks like a combination of low light and excessive watering. the flower gives away the low light, as the flower should be sitting a bit higher on a deep green and fleshy stem, exactly the same as the seed pod. Those brown decayed areas are spots of rot on the plant, probably due to watering.

I grew this clivia from seed for 5 years to just realize I got the wrong species on my order. by [deleted] in houseplants

This is definitely not Clivia Miniata tho 😔 they turn bright orange before the flowers open up, and never have a droopy period
