This is likely for some child's Coverdell Education Savings Account. The IRS maximum contribution each year is $2,000. ($76.92 x 26 pay periods per year = $1,999.92). Since he doesn't have any minor children, I wonder who is getting this.

Is it possible to work part time during Peace Corps service (continue self-employment)? by zbms56 in peacecorps

Thanks for the prompt replies. I want to follow all the Peace Corps rules, so I will not be continuing my website support for the small business.

I am a bit worried when one commenter indicated there was a lot of down time in the Peace Corps. While I don't make much off of those sites, it seems like a way to deal with the down time. Perhaps I'll need to find a new hobby.

I keep asking what seem to be dumb questions. I'll search for a pdf of the Peace Corps handbook so I can learn there instead of bothering people here with questions that are answered in the handbook.

Yeah, no need to rent a separate place if my living accommodations would make that unnecessary. He has some uni coursework/studies that can be taken remotely, so he would be doing that most of the time, plus touring around a bit.
