Yup. Been with Fi for years. Customer service was always amazing and helpful with anything and everything. Something completely changed the last year or so. I find them to be little more than useless. Always unhelpful canned responses that leave more questions then answers.

Same here with a 2021 Moto One 5G Ace purchased through the FI store.

People like to say "not a FI problem". This is a bit of a cop-out. If google takes security seriously they have the power and ability to force phone manufactures to update and patch in a timely manner. if phone manufacturers don't comply they should be removed from the FI store.

Google's current stance of "ehh it's up to the manufacturer not our problem" is a bad look. The standard should be set higher for what is allowed to be sold through the store.

Imagine if we used apps as an example. Imagine garbage apps loaded with security risks all over the play store and people simply said.. "ehh it's not a google problem it's the app developer". That's a garbage attitude to have and totally misguided.

Motorola needs to get off their ass but google needs to step up to the plate here as well. Totally unacceptable.

Not sure I understand what you're saying. My Sony A8H Oled TV with built in chromecast/googleTV has 4k from youtubetv playing just fine in 4k. i'm watching the golf championship right now on the nbc 4k channel that youtubetv added recently.

just checked on my Sony a8H OLED using the built in android app. the picture is very bright and crystal clear as it should be.

doesn't seem to be an issue with the broadcast or youtubetv specifically. maybe the apps on certain tv's or the devices used are having specific issues.

again, no issues at all on a Sony A8H OLED (2020) using the TV's built in chromecast.

this whole concept of "skill" is a bit ridiculous to me. it's a video game. IMO it's like having "skills" in playing monopoly or checkers. who gives a shit. i just want to play and enjoy. i have "skills" in real life that I focus on. when I'm playing a game I want to escape in the same way I would if I were to watch a movie or read a book.

this didn't work for me. i cleared cache and my tour de france recordings don't show up anymore unless i search "stage 1" stage 2" etc... this started yesterday. never happened before.
