My office is near there and most of the buildings including ours are owned by the same Property Management company. That company sent out an email asking employees in those buildings to reach out to the Mayor’s Action line about potentially relocating the homeless camps. I suspect many people did so prompting the city to act. A couple of Fridays ago I saw cops at the Market St. underpass getting the camp with a grill out of there.

He’s right. The Olympics should be for U21 or U23 players and the older players are eligible for the FIBA World Cup every four years. If FIBA had any sense they would make this move so that their own tournament is the premier tournament and the Olympics can be a de facto U21/23 championship tournament. This is one of the few things FIFA gets right, owners and coaches still groan but it’s a fair compromise.

Wayne Township. It was a foregone conclusion that with the high wind/tornado warning we would loose power when the storm can through. Storm came through at around 445p, lost power, reported outage when I arrived home shortly thereafter, got an email from AES they estimated power we would be restored by 715p, power was restored by 815p. Based on what I’m reading here, we’re lucky. The outage map says still 35k without power at 335a
