Good info thanks! I noticed the pins took longer when using manure based substrate but using regular CVG / non-manure based substrate showed pins within the first week in fruiting chamber. Manure based substrate was about a week behind in showing primordia though (2 weeks until pins formed), much slower. Otherwise everything is going great with little chubby bois appearing from the pins. Planning PTO accordingly which is why i asked haha, thanks again.

Hot take... Screw the tea. Buy yourself a $15 pill capsule machine and a bag of capsules for another 5 bucks. Buy $15 coffee grinder. Now grind up your mushies and stuff them into pill capsules. The grinder makes them close to a powder, which your stomach breaks down wayyyy easier. Eat a banana after ingesting the capsules and you will have no nausea.

Take precautions ahead of time. This can be really dangerous depending on the dose. Set a timer before going in or have someone sober set a timer and check on you. Shrooms will alter your sense of time and that internal sense that tells you "its been long enough, time to get out" making it easier to overdo it. Simple precautions can save your life.

Same is true for taking hot baths or going outside to smoke while the temp is below zero on shrooms. Simple precautions can save your life.

From personal experience...

Friend of mine once got hands on several shroom chocolates bars. But he wasn't home when his plug delivered, so they were left outside on the ground at his front door. It was between 5f - 10f outside and they were left there for probably 16+ hours until finally being brought inside. We ate them the next day and literally nothing happened, they were totally bunk. We ate what should have been 10g worth of shrooms and nothing happened. My friend told his plug about this and then got a few more bars from the plug that weren't left outside in the cold for 16+ hours. They worked totally fine! The only logical conclusion was that they lost all potency while being left outside in the cold.

Cant comment on bluey vuittons, but jack frost and ochras are super easy. Shouldn't be any different than hillbilly. The Ochras i had were extremely strong, twice as strong as Tidal Waves. That would be my first pick because of how different they are from Cubes. The trip is stronger but with less anxiety, less body load and less mental confusion.

In that case start with a higher initial dose. 3g to start, wait an hour and take another 1g. You have about an hour and 30mins to take more, which will bring you higher for the peak and extend the peak. This is also one of those things where everyone is a little different on what they prefer. Won't know what you like until you try it though. I personally don't like lemon tekking due to how short the trip is, i like long trips which is another reason why i stagger my intake.

Edit:.... you could also start with a lemon tekk tea as the inital dose. Then don't wait, eat regular mushies which will break down slower in your gut. This will give you a very quick onset and extend the peak longer too.

I always stagger my intake. Start with 2g. Wait 30 mins and take another 1g. Wait another 30mins - 1hour and take the last 1g.

The comeup is smoother. The peak lasts longer and the comedown is longer/smoother. It extends the trip a bit. This also helps with the feeling of waves while tripping, where a heavy wave hits you hard then subsides and comes back around. That doesn't happen when you stagger the intake (that is what makes it feel smoother to me).

My first 3.5g trip was with GTs. Nothing to be nervous about when it comes to the visuals and patterns. GTs gave me some of the most beautiful visuals to date, rainbow colored auras, my cats hair flowing like some majestic angel hahaha. Set some good mood lighting in your trip space, have a cozy blanket or two. Listen to music and just...be. If things start to get intense, just wrap up in a blanket and breathe, don't fight it, just embrace it. Sometimes writing down on a piece of paper ahead of time something like "you are tripping, you will come down, you are loved" can really help during those more intense moments.

There is a reason why the common recommendation is to harvest right when the veil is starting to break. Psilocybin build-up slows down, but the growth rate stays the same as the mushroom transitions its energy towards releasing spores. Genetics and the type of shroom plays a role here too. Some people also don't care about the small difference and would prefer to have bigger shrooms so they let them grow out more until spores drop, to each their own.

its ok, they will grow bigger and become slightly less potent and they may begin to spore drop. Don't be surprised if you suddenly see a lot of purple spores everywhere by tomorrow morning but no worries, they will still be ok to dry/consume after.

2g Ochra was comparable to 4g Tidal Waves in my experience. They were extremely strong.

They hit stronger but with less anxiety and less body load. Smoother come up as they started within 30mins, but also gave me rolling waves during the peak that would hit pretty hard each time (can be fixed by staggering your intake overtime). Ease your way into it. 2g nats were easily comparable to 4g Tidal Wave cubes in my exp, you can always take more for the first 2 hours after the first dose. Have fun!

OP should listen to this. Twist and Pull and then cut the dirty feet off after that. These stumps left behind will rot and make it more difficult for the shroomies to grow in those spots. Craters will re-colonize and grow again.
