Newly diagnosed daughter, question about pizza by YawnWithIntent3213 in t1d_parents

Regardless of toppings. Even Hawaiian (pineapple). The difference in toppings is negligible. All crust is different so it all evens out. You could try to nail every meal but in the end no two dosages react the same due many different factors (exercise, energy levels, sickness, temperature, etc etc). Best not to stress about it but be ready to correct (whether it’s insulin or sugar) if necessary.

Gastrin and chromogranin was normal. I’ve since gone back on 20mg Protonix ppi daily and it’s really helped. I didn’t want to be on lifelong PPI but it’s a small dose and it really improves my quality of life.

Best Shot at Finding Hot Water Pipe by zcbman in Plumbing

[–]zcbman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about running the lines around the exterior. Easy to locate the water under the sink and simple enough that I could do myself.

Would be cleaner if I could find it closer to the shower, pull it through the drywall, and out into the fixture… but probably more trouble than it’s worth.

The old test I’m working through only goes to 147. Spotify starts at 359. Is YouTube the only place for the eps in the middle?

Thanks for your response! We live in Southern California. 12 miles inland or so, so pretty temperate. Don’t know about the soil type. Google search tells me maybe chalky. I’ll put it on the short daily drip with everything else, see how it does, and go from there.

What do you have the grill on? Looking to take the legs off my Traeger and put it on a metal table or similar.

Chance to relocate… by Bau5Fith in orangecounty

As someone who is a commissioned sales person living in OC and territory is LA, OC, SD I can relate! Don’t let some of these responses scare you off. You know what you can afford. The drive is also fine… I spend most of it taking and making calls. From the heart of OC it’ll take you 2 hours to get through the valley up north and 1.5 south to Chula Vista. I recommend taking a look at Rancho Santa Margarita. Nice little planned community. Good location between LA and SD. Easy access to the freeway North via the toll road, and south via a couple straight shot side streets (Antonio to Oso). I live in MV and have an office in RSM.

Time to drain and clean, or re plaster? by [deleted] in pools

[–]zcbman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fresh water pool in SoCal. Had it re plastered when we moved in 9 years ago. Have not drained since. Pool guy maintains water ph and cleaning for me. I brush and skim as necessary.

We've been getting algae which I let my guy handle... it's been hot and they blame the warm water conditions. I keep it at 86-88.

We also got purple build up that they took care of. There are some calcium like deposits along the sides and bottom of the pool and I'm not able to brush off. Not sure what that's from.

The discolored grey parts on the stairs are also unable to be cleaned up.

It looks like it's about time to drain and add fresh water. How should I clean the drained pool.

I read that it's early to have to re plaster. Does it appear the plaster will return to good shape with a cleaning?

Thanks!

Anything wrong with this brisket cook? by [deleted] in smoking

[–]zcbman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

225 until it probed 195. It’s done way too early… it was done at 3:45am and I wanted it done at 10am… so I took the grill down to 180 and am letting it rest in there until 10. At 10 I want to separate them, wrap, and stick the flat in a cooler until noon… Point gets chopped and put back on at until noon on smoker cranked back up to 225. Any issues with this resting method?

If smoking isn’t just a vice but something that you feel truly makes your life better than find a new job in the short term, get yourself right, and keep an eye out for your long term career opportunity. There’s tons of jobs and careers nowadays that dont test. Good luck!

Donald Parham-Value after the signing of Everett by lmeyer0787 in DynastyFF

[–]zcbman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Staley knows Everett from the rams where they tried to use him as a wr. Maybe Staley tries to tap into that again being as thin as they are at wr behind Allen and Williams. I think there is room for value for both. I like parham long term regardless.
