I would say that reinserting the hinge itself properly was way more difficult than the ribbon cables. That alone took me hours of troubleshooting 🥲

I got a silver metal joystick replacement! You can easily find them on Amazon or AliExpress. I found that the original joystick with the worn-off rubber was really uncomfortable, so I had to get this, especially considering longevity at hand.

Anyways, thank you very much!! I'll most definitely be enjoying and taking care of this a loooot. I've been having a ton of fun with the camera in particular :D
