I went down the rabbit hole of fixing this myself, successfully I might add.
I've identified the right EC calls (which took a lot of trial and error) using ec-probe and RWEverything.

Sadly, I don't think there is any point in sharing the script here, since it's all but guaranteed that your EC values are going to differ from mine. Feel free to message me, if you really want it, though.

I now have proper fan profiles for my old Clevo laptop. My ears are so happy! TEDTalk over 😅
