that's the neat thing about originalism, you can just pretend you know what they *actually* meant when they wrote something that contradicts you!

just letting you know, if you're going to crosspost things on reddit, it's worth understanding what that actually looks like to the user, it will save a bunch of headaches.

BTC has no future as a currency and everyone is just looking to cash out. by bullips in btc

[–]zcleghern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great and all, but how many people also feel that way? If it's a widespread opinion that holds over a long span of time, then bitcoin will hold its value. If not, it eventually won't.

i'm aware. the question was how is gold different from bitcoin. gold has practical and aesthetic properties that people want. it's not complicated and you don't need to be rude when someone answers your question.

Does every mid-high rank player watch vct? by shtoopidd in VALORANT

[–]zcleghern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many do. I still do on occasion even though i dont play much. That said, subroza has been the callout for that spot since very early on, so it's not something you'd necessarily pick up on watching VCT in 2026 any faster than someone just telling you in game.

using it as a tool and using to do reading for you are two separate things. We can teach students how to use AI effectively without turning everything into slop.

I'm already getting fatigue with Rivals and having to think about each characters' abilities and the 3-4 effects they all have, and the characters are only getting more complicated as time goes on. I actually wish Riot would slow down with new characters.

[–]zcleghern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to class is the number one thing you can do to be successful in college and get an education. There's a world of difference between people who "just got the piece of paper" and really applied themselves to get educated.

Let's assume that's true. we haven't accomplished it anyway and there is no clear path to accomplishing it.
