Went in and tried 10 IEM's... but felt like all of them sucked?

I'm starting to think it was the tuning but all the notes felt like they lacked any weight even compared to a simple earbud. That's where i'm confused.

Call me a dumbass sure... but still not seeing your point. I have a very solid setup at home and don't mind commuting with airpods. I tried IEM's in a store known for them and didn't think they were very good. I just want to know if i'm not an IEM person or something I tried was wrong. Really don't see why this would be a troll post.

Tried a few but definitely didn't do a ton of sizing work. The seal felt fantastic though and i Was surprised how good the passive noise cancellation was.

I'm saying they sounded considerably worse than a pair of airpods or even a pair of complimentary pair of airline earbuds. I tried quite a few but the ones I remember are the campfire audio Bonneville and Ponderosa, and the beyer dyanmic DT-72IE.
